Edible Tortoise and Turtle Foods by Species

What Should I Feed my Tortoise or Turtle?

Tortoises and turtles have many things in common.  They all have a shell, a head, four legs and a tail.  Diet is not something all species of tortoises and turtles have in common. Over millions of years, they have evolved to not only survive, but thrive on items found where they are native.  This does not change when tortoises and turtles enter into a captive environment.  Whether born in captivity, or (sadly) collected from the wild, captive tortoises and turtles require and deserve a diet that most closely imitates a wild diet as is possible.  The following links are arranged by species.
